Time and place—they weave the intricate fabric of existence, where fleeting moments find permanence in the heart. This body of work is a testament to the intersections of life, shaped by certain times and certain places.

In the age of the internet and mobile connections the world feels suspended in the palm of your hand but beyond the pragmatic and the material lies a deeper truth: time does not stand still, nor do the spaces we inhabit remain untouched by who we are and who we become.

There are moments in life, rare and crystalline, that transcend their immediate significance. They linger, echoing long after they have passed, as though they were fragments of eternity. Certain places, too, have a life of their own etched into memory, carved into the contours of identity. These are the places that speak, whispering stories of who we were, who we are, and who we might yet be.

And so, we are all, in some way, shaped by time and place. They shape us, yes, but we also shape them, leaving traces of our essence in the spaces we occupy and the moments we embrace. It is a transaction of being, a quiet dance between permanence and impermanence.

Informed by this eternal interplay, I stand here, a reflection of times and places that have colored the canvas of my life. They are more than markers on a timeline or dots on a map; they are the architects of selfhood, the silent collaborators in the art of becoming.

And so, in time, in place, and in life, we are ever in motion, ever in creation.

The pieces I have made for this exhibition consist of found objects, hand blown and hot sculpted glass, wood and paint. Materials that surround our everyday lives.
