These glass plates started out as a collaboration between the Hilton in Pensacola Beach and I. It was a creative solution for a functional object. I’ve always felt glass wants to look like water. I wanted to create a representation of the evolution of a wave that connects that thought. My favorite part of a wave is when it begins to break. You can see that glorious moment in these pieces. As you move into the center of the plate, you’ll notice a rippling in the sand effect that completes the pieces. Available in two sizes.
